THE ART AND METHODS OF INTERIOR DESIGN
"LIVING SPACES: THE ART AND METHODS OF INTERIOR DESIGN" explores the art and methods of designing contemporary indoor living spaces. As living standards rise, the expression of personalized lifestyles becomes increasingly essential, encompassing choices such as decor style, spatial layout, colour schemes, and furniture arrangement. The book unfolds over six chapters. The first four chapters focus on design principles, starting with basic knowledge of residential spaces and guiding the reader into the design realm. The last two chapters emphasize interior design strategies, techniques, and detailed design and execution stages, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding from conceptualization to realization.
"We spend a significant chunk of our lives indoors, a setting where our cognition, productivity, quality of life, emotions, and aesthetic appreciation intersect. Ancient Roman architect Vitruvius famously stated that "every room should be useful, sturdy, and beautiful," encapsulating the functional and emotional requirements of residential spaces."

READ MORE"In the age of swift global information exchange, architecture and interior design have grown more diverse and interconnected. When building or decorating a home, inspiration can be drawn from both ancient and modern, Eastern and Western sources, resulting in a 'crossera mix and match.' This less tradition-bound style employs a wide array of methods, but a closer look reveals an underlying order within its seeming randomness, the principle of 'order within disorder.' This is the crux of the mix-and-match method, where designers artfully combine elements to forge uniquely captivating works."
